Courses Taught by Mr. V.

This is the second year for Mr. Ventimiglia at Tantasqua Regional Senior High School.  Since 1997, Mr. V has been across the street teaching 7th and 8th grade.  Looking for a change, he has returned to the high school level where he began his teaching career at St. Peter-Marian C.C. Junior-Senior High School teaching 7th through 12th grade.  This year, he is teaching Algebra 1 CPA Parts 1 and 2, Algebra 1 & 2 Honors and Algebra 2 CPA.

Extra Help

Extra help is available on a weekly basis, usually on Wednesdays after school.  Students do not need to sign up ahead of time, but are expected to come prepared with materials, questions, and a desire to address areas of weaknesses.  If a student is unable to attend extra help on the scheduled day, students can attend another time after school or before school with prior communication and approval.

Expectations of Students

Students in Mr. Ventimiglia's math classes are expected to come prepared every day to do their best.  That includes coming in with completed homework, questions about any problems they may have had difficulty on the homework, and ready to participate in the topics for the day.  This also includes coming prepared with the requisite materials, pencil/pen (blue or black only), notebook paper, and previous notes.

Expectations of Mr. V.

Just like the students, Mr. Ventimiglia will come prepared every day to do his best to help his students develop a deeper understanding of the material found within the curriculum  Lesson will be designed to be engaging, well supported, and challenging and presented in a manner that supports various learning styles and modalities.
